March 19, 10:14 pm - Ostara, Celtic Mid-Spring Welcome to our Holistica! A little history.... My name is Amy and I have been on the path toward the Healing Arts for many years. I started out getting Associate Degrees in Biology/Medicine/General Science, Computer Applications Specialist, and Microcomputer/Networking Specialist. None of these degrees fully satisfied me so I went to college for Medical Assistant with Limited X-Ray. After completing my education I began work at a Naturopathic Clinic, Natural Health Works, where I discovered natural healing methods. Six months after starting work there I decided to start my education for Massage Therapy. I have now been a Massage Therapist with Natural Health Works (as well as on my own) since July 2009 and want to continue my education in complementary modalities to incorporate with massage. These include energy work, stone/crystal healing, and aromatherapy/herbal remedies. I am drawn to Celtic themed energy work and want to include it in each modality as I learn it. The Druids knew something and as a Celt in my heritage, I want to re-awaken it! I am also now a Manufacturer's Representative for Dolce Mia all natural Bath and Beauty products.
